    Join the momentum. We are seeking two Senior Consultant for our growing Technology Consulting team. Driving business excellence, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Consulting team works with organizations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to provide innovative strategies tailored to maximize efficiencies, enhance performance and increase profitability. Specifically, our recognized Technology Consulting team works with clients to translate technology issues and opportunities into meaningful results that meet organizational needs.



    Performance Expectations

    • Architect J2EE or Microsoft .NET web based solutions  
    • Participate in the development or modifications of systems using J2EE or Microsoft .NET technologies
    • Release, implement and support technology solutions
    • Develop solution design, development and rollout estimates
    • Develop formal requirement specification and solution design documents
    • Prepare, present and advise clients on technology solutions; write high quality client-facing documentation
    • Facilitate requirements gathering workshops with clients
    • Publicly speak, promote and share knowledge in the technology development community
    • Lead, mentor and grow MNP’s Technology Consulting team


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, Business Degree with MIS or equivalent University Computer Science or College Degree
    • OJCP or MCSE certification
    • A minimum of five years of experience designing and developing enterprise level web based applications
    • Knowledge and experience with Java or .NET environments
    • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, Software Design Patterns and structured analysis techniques
    • Knowledge of change and configuration management and continuous integration
    • Knowledge of Agile software development or Dev/Ops principles
    • Fundamental understanding of SQL; relational database design and development
    • Knowledge of current and evolving web technologies
    • Experience conducting requirements workshops and documenting requirements
    • Experience leading solution development teams in the delivery of standards based modern web applications
    • Experience creating solutions that follow test driven development principles
    • Experience helping organizations maximize productivity of their development processes
    • Ability to complete development projects on time and on budget
    • Possess a passion for writing and blogging
    • Willingness and ability to travel on occasion
