Join the momentum. We are seeking a Senior Manager for our growing Transfer Pricing team. Providing the highest level of excellence, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Tax team works with individuals and organizations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors providing comprehensive strategies that minimize risk, meet tax compliance and reporting requirements, drive efficiencies and maximize returns. Specifically, our Transfer Pricing team works with clients to develop transfer pricing strategies that mitigate the risk of transfer pricing adjustments and penalties.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Performance Expectations

  • Develop transfer pricing strategies that are practical, defensible and consistent with clients’ overall corporate strategy
  • Transfer pricing planning; review of inter-company transactions and provision of recommendations for Transfer Pricing methodologies
  • Prepare transfer pricing documentation
  • Dispute resolution – audit defense, appeals, competent authority and voluntary disclosures
  • Annual compliance requirements – disclose inter-company transactions with non-resident related parties
  • Analyze financial and economic data for Tax and regulatory compliance
  • Prepare reports, review and analyze financial statements
  • Conduct research on companies in various industries
  • Provide training and coaching to junior team members

Credentials

  • Accounting Designation or Master’s Degree in Economics, Statistics or Finance
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with Transfer Pricing projects
  • Experience with financial analysis and modeling
  • Experience in writing client reports
  • A proven aptitude in analytical research
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Some travel may be required
