Join the momentum. We are seeking an Analyst for our growing Advisory Services team. Delivering quality in everything we do, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Advisory Services team is committed to providing meaningful and reliable financial information that ensures our clients are always well protected and positioned.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Performance Expectations

  • Obtain, review and analyze all necessary financial data
  • Prepare schedules, reports, cash flows and other documents pertinent to the department
  • Assist in preparing information memorandum and all necessary marketing documents
  • Respond to creditor and other interested parties’ queries
  • As appropriate, work with clients and creditors both on the phone and in-person
  • Attend professional development courses, seminars, workshops and meetings on a regular basis
  • Identify and initiate relevant courses for self-development
  • Take initiative to share learning experiences and new acquired knowledge with team members
  • Liaise with external and internal team members and ensure client information is processed in an accurate and timely fashion and according to pre-defined milestones

Credentials

  • Possess an undergraduate business degree; combination of advanced post-secondary training
  • Possess a CPA designation or is on the verge of obtaining it
  • Experience in a professional services industry is ideal
  • Comfortable with various research tools (databases, online etc.)
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel for Cash-flows, 3-way financials (balance sheet, income statement and cash-flow), schedules and Financial Projections
  • Bilingual in French and English with strong writing skills
