Join the momentum. We are seeking a Project Manager for our growing Cyber Security Services team. Protecting businesses’ best interests, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Cyber Security team helps identify, evaluate and manage risk exposure to protect a company’s reputation and assets. Specifically, our team identifies and addresses cyber security challenges, tests the resiliency against cyber-attacks, assists with IT governance and strategy, reviews and advises on defensive controls and offers advice on information security and privacy for all types of clients.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Performance Expectations

  • Provide leadership to the project teams, coordinate resources and ensure projects are delivered on time and according to the project scope
  • Conduct project planning, resource coordination and scheduling
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of the company's project portfolio, ranging from strategic planning initiatives to tactical activities
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses, risk analyses and ROI calculations to determine project feasibility
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings and forums in order to solicit feedback, input and expectations; incorporate these into project plans
  • Produce regular reports (status, escalations, etc.) on the progress of projects; deliver these reports during regular stakeholder meetings
  • Reallocate resources across multiple projects where necessary; identify and resolve any resource allocation discrepancies
  • Manage projects on time, on budget and to client satisfaction
  • Complete documentation, metrics and reports
  • Interact directly with clients
  • Proactively identify potential problems and vulnerabilities and apply a structured approach to problem solving
  • Recognize and celebrate team success
  • Adhere to established methodologies for project management
  • Keep abreast and have knowledge of new technologies
  • Conduct project post mortems in order to identify areas for improvement; make recommendations based on findings

Credentials

  • Three (3) or more years of project management experience, preferably in an IT Infrastructure or IT Security field
  • Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset
  • Ability to manage ten or more projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated Project Management (PM) competencies: budget and timeline management, scope management, risk management, timely decision making, effective team building, ability to prioritize and delegate appropriately and deal with changing priorities
  • Conflict resolution and effective mediation skills
  • MS Project/MS Office (Power Point / Excel) advanced capabilities
  • Strong technology understanding coupled with industry skills and a track record of understanding IT Security Technology (Networking, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Content Filtering, Strong Authentication, PCI-DSS Compliance, Penetration Testing) is an asset
  • Ability to travel to client locations on occasion
