Join the momentum. We are currently seeking a temporary Coordinator to join our growing Regional Marketing team for a 14 month term. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Positioning the firm for success, our Marketing team supports the growth, business-generating efforts and goals of MNP. We develop and deliver creative and strategic programs that translate the firm’s objectives into market-appropriate media, messages and methodologies. We build and protect our brand in new and existing markets, as well as create and sustain market advantage in all service line, industry and specialty groups.
Assist the Senior Regional Marketing Manager (SRMM) with the development of the annual marketing plan for the area(s) of the business that the coordinator is assigned accountability for (including gathering and compiling research that supports the development of the plans)
Responsible for the coordination, tactical execution, and day-to-day administration of the regional marketing campaigns, strategies and initiatives that make up the annual marketing plan(s)
Utilize appropriate marketing disciplines and tools to achieve the desired position of the MNP brand (ex: one-on-one communication, paid advertising, use of collateral materials, direct marketing, publicity, event marketing, networking, sponsorship/donations, web based media, etc.)
Support the region across its range of marketing activities, including (but may not be limited to) events, sponsorships, advertising, direct marketing, publicity, digital marketing, trade shows, local promotions, community programs, business development presentations, signage, brochures, website and social media
Assist with proposal requests as required, using firm approved processes and templates to complete marketing content
Provide regular reporting of results against measures agreed with the SRMM and the business leaders to whom the coordinator has been assigned to work with
Assist with the tracking of marketing budget spend for areas of accountability, keeping the SRMM regularly updated with progress and deviation against budget
Maintain marketing materials and collateral including promotional items, brochures and tradeshow equipment
Perform administrative duties specific to the marketing department such as updating and maintaining databases, client lists and preparing materials for distribution to clients
Organize client prospect programs in conjunction with other internal resources and other internal marketing-related initiatives
Create and send industry specific newsletters to clients and business partners
Work with sponsoring organizations to position MNP speakers on event agendas
Conduct other projects and ad-hoc activities as directed by the SRMM
Create marketing campaigns in conjunction with MNP’s various vendor partners: this includes email campaigns, co-branded collateral, events and joint sponsorships.
Work with vendor partners to determine marketing strategy and plan allocation of vendor marketing funds
Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, specializing in marketing, communications, project management, English, journalism or related discipline
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a marketing capacity and a demonstrated understanding of the marketing process, project coordination and budgeting processes
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification considered an asset
Experience in a corporate writing environment considered an asset
Experience working in a Professional Services environment considered an asset
Possess strong presentation skills
Proven web based research skills
Strong computer literacy including effective skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
