Join the momentum. We are seeking a .NET Developer for our growing Technology Consulting team. Driving business excellence, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Consulting team works with organizations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to provide innovative strategies tailored to maximize efficiencies, enhance performance and increase profitability. Specifically, our recognized Technology Consulting team works with clients to translate technology issues and opportunities into meaningful results that meet organizational needs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Performance Expectations

  • Define, discuss and document solution, application and data architectures
  • Design and implement Microsoft .NET solutions leveraging ASP.NET, web services, SQL Server (i.e., SSIS/SSRS/SSAS), and more
  • Take responsibility for the success of the overall solution and contribute to project planning, management and status reporting
  • Collaborate with firm leaders and other team members to perform peer review and share knowledge
  • Help select and execute selected approaches to delivery including waterfall and agile
  • Understand, evolve and augment team best practices
  • Interface with clients to understand needs, explain designs and demonstrate solutions
  • Lead and mentor other developers

Credentials

  • Possess a post-secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field
  • Three (3) or more years of experience as a developer with the Microsoft technologies including web and client development using C# and/or VB.NET
  • Strong understanding of relational databases/SQL and developer experience with SQL Server
  • Strong understanding of the full development lifecycle including requirements, architecture, design, development and testing
  • Development experience with other related technologies such as Dynamics CRM/365, SharePoint, Reporting Services (SSRS), BizTalk or PowerBI would be beneficial
  • Previous experience working with Government of Canada departments is strongly preferred but not mandatory
  • One (1) or more up to date Microsoft Certified Professional certifications would be a bonus
  • Ability to secure Government of Canada security clearance at Reliability level or above
