Join the momentum. We are seeking a Senior Consultant for our growing Consulting Services team. Driving business excellence, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Consulting team works with organizations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to provide innovative strategies tailored to maximize efficiencies, enhance performance and increase profitability.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Performance Expectations

  • Assist in the delivery of consulting services such as strategic and operational planning reviews along with the design of programs and services, stakeholder engagement and other forms of management consulting
  • Support proposal development along with the implementation, administration and completion of client engagements
  • Perform complex and detailed research, interpretation and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data for the purpose of proposing, planning and implementing business improvements for clients
  • Participate in research through the collection, development and analysis of data (through online content, report review, interviews, focus groups, surveys and administrative data)
  • Design, develop, format and proof read professional reports, proposals, presentations and correspondence
  • Develop positive working relationships and liaise with clients and colleagues
  • Ensure delivery of high quality client service products
  • Monitor project timelines against targets, adjust where necessary; advise clients of project status and seek clarification on discrepancies where applicable
  • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services and clientele through experiential learning with clients
  • Network and take a leadership role in the local professional community while raising awareness of MNP and looking for new business development opportunities
  • Promote MNP advisory services through the delivery of presentations, writing articles, facilitating workshops or participating in community activities
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes while effectively using MNP internal programs and systems
  • Develop, coach, and train team members towards professional and personal development
  • Assist in conducting formal, written annual performance reviews
  • Promote regular attendance, balanced lifestyle and high standard of team wellness
  • Attend internal MNP courses to further develop knowledge around performance improvement
  • Some travel may be required

Credentials

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in business, political science, information science or other related field
  • Completion of a Master’s Degree in business, public administration or other related field is preferred
  • Four (4) to five (5) years of consulting experience, ideally in a client-service environment
  • Completion of a Certified Management Consultant Certification is an asset
  • Experience in business and practice development is considered an asset
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
