Join the momentum. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our growing Technology team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Driving innovation throughout the firm, our Technology team provides industry-leading solutions that enable MNP to better serve our clients and people. We deliver on the strategic needs of service lines, industry and specialty groups, and operations at all levels throughout the firm. Our specialists develop, enable and support initiatives that allow MNP to deliver client service, collaborate, communicate and operate reliably and efficiently.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Performance Expectations

  • Perform a variety of administrative activities for the Chief Information Officer (CIO), ensuring timely adherence to deadlines
  • Manage calendars and coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings, appointments and travel arrangements
  • Prepare, review and modify general templates, letters, reports, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Excel workbooks and other correspondence materials
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports, coordinating meetings and agendas
  • Photocopy, scan documents as required and uphold electronic and paper filing systems
  • Generate reports and dashboards
  • Record minutes at various meetings and distribute or archive them accordingly
  • Support and assist IT Team Members with tasks such as inventory management, accounts payable, placing orders and cellular phone management, as required
  • Act as the incident coordinator/liaison for any incidents within IT
  • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
  • Raise awareness of MNP at community events
  • Attend internal MNP courses to further develop your knowledge

Credentials

  • Completion of related post-secondary education in administration is an asset
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of related administrative experience
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
