Join the momentum. We are seeking a Senior Manager for our growing Assurance and Accounting – Professionals team. Positioning professionals for success, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax, and business consulting firm to this diverse group that includes physicians, dentists, optometrists, pharmacists, veterinarians, and lawyers. Our Professional services team provides clients with the industry insight and support they need to effectively manage their practices and help them realize their goals.



Performance Expectations

  • Deliver industry and technical expertise through client interactions, written reports, technical work, and the production of high quality deliverables
  • Lead client facing team members on assurance work including corporate year-end files and financial statements, compliance tax engagements, as well as tax and cash flow planning.
  • Correspond with clients and various government agencies to address client tax compliance issues
  • Monitor project timelines against targets, adjust where necessary; advise clients of project status and seek clarification on discrepancies where applicable
  • Manage the delivery of client services including planning, scheduling and coordinating engagements
  • Raise identified client issues that need to be addressed with engagement partners
  • Facilitate client relationships with MNP and teams to deliver client service excellenc
  • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry through experiential learning with clients
  • Identify and analyze client needs and provide clients with comprehensive solutions and advice
  • Meet with clients to review results and assist with tax planning
  • Raise awareness of MNP through involvement in networking events including client and company sponsored functions
  • Respond to inquiries from members of the business community and general public concerning opportunities to provide services
  • Establish referral networks consisting of key decision makers

  • Facilitate positive relations with clients and develop new client relationships
  • Liaise and correspond professionally with clients, colleagues and the firm leadership team
  • Mentor and coach team members towards professional and personal development
  • Ensure technical contributions from team are accurate and of high quality
  • Conduct formal, written annual performance reviews
  • Promote regular attendance, balanced lifestyle and high standard of team wellness


  • Possess a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent
  • Minimum seven to eight years of relevant work experience in public accounting
  • Experience working with Professionals niche clients is considered an asset
  • Solid understanding of business, accounting, management and practice development principles
