    Join the momentum. We are seeking a Manager for our growing International Corporate Tax team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Tax team works with individuals and organizations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors providing comprehensive strategies that minimize risk, meet tax compliance and reporting requirements, drive efficiencies and maximize returns. Specifically, our Corporate Tax team helps mid-market, privately held companies to minimize their tax exposure.



    Performance Expectations

    • Manage client engagements, from planning to execution, including managing tax compliance and reporting requirements
    • Serve the Canadian tax compliance needs of multi-national corporations, including the preparation of corporate income tax and information returns and the preparation of tax provision working papers
    • Work closely with senior members of the MNP team to provide tax advice to non-residents of Canada that are either carrying on business in Canada or planning to commence carrying on business in Canada
    • Assist with M&A transactions and due diligence engagements
    • Assist with tax matters applicable to Canadian businesses expanding abroad
    • Conduct detailed review of client files and coordinate the completion with junior staff
    • Actively participate in internal professional development events, such as assisting with learning and development support


    • University degree coupled with the completion of a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, or equivalent
    • Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in public practice
    • Strong technical knowledge of Canadian income tax, including experience in corporate tax return preparation and review, tax research and drafting memoranda
    • Strong project management skills and ability to work on the entire life cycle of client engagements
    • Experience with tax planning and/or tax compliance for mid-market clients preferred
    • Strong client service skills
    • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Some travel may be required
