Join the momentum. We are currently seeking a File Clerk to join our growing Administrative team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Strategically supporting the firm, our Administration team anticipates the needs of our team members and Partners. We effectively communicate information for service lines, industry and specialty groups, and operations at all levels throughout the firm. Our administrators support initiatives and ensure efficiency, allowing MNP to better serve our clients and people.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Performance Expectations

  • File documents
  • Process documents related to bankruptcy filings
  • Manage incoming proof of claims
  • Pull reports for Consultants, managers and partners
  • Pick-up and drop off documents at the Court House or appropriate locations
  • Open, close, organize and maintain insolvency files
  • Reception coverage as needed
  • Maintain all incoming and outgoing courier packages and mail
  • Provide general admin support to consultants, managers and partners
  • Scan and E-file documents
  • Prepare letters, as directed, using template letter formats
  • Respond to inquiries
  • Communicate and coordinate with the team regarding client service work and the flow of information
  • Provide support and guidance to other team members

Credentials

  • Experience working in a Professional Services environment, particularly in insolvency, considered an asset
  • Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in an administrative or support position
  • Understanding of Microsoft Outlook and learning internal databases is an asset
