Join the momentum at MNP, as we are seeking a Lead Administrative Specialist to fulfill a 20 month contract for our growing Financial Advisory Services (FAS) Administration team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Strategically supporting the firm, our Administration team anticipates the needs of our team members and Partners. We effectively communicate information for service lines, industry and specialty groups, and operations at all levels throughout the firm. Our administrators support initiatives and ensure efficiency, allowing MNP to better serve our clients and people.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Performance Expectations

  • Supervise and coach Financial Advisory Administration team
  • Accountable for a highly developed level of client service for all four Financial Advisory Services (FAS) teams
  • Ensure proper allocation of administrative resources to meet regional and service line objectives, monitor work flow and workload, redistribute work based on the needs and coordinate coverage across the FAS Service Lines
  • Assist with the implementation and execution of FAS initiatives and projects
  • Provide oversight and quality assurance of work performed with respect to the drafting and development of proposals and presentations, as well as related research requests and the management of templates and resources
  • Consider administrative processes and tasks and document and implement improvements on an on-going basis
  • Accountable for planning, organizing and coordinating business/practice development related social events and functions

Credentials

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an administrative or support position, preferably in a professional or corporate environment
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience supervising staff with demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Strong client service focus dealing with internal and external clients, professionalism, discretion, integrity and tact
  • Expert level technical skills in Microsoft Office
