Join the momentum. We are currently seeking an Application Specialists, Finance and Human Resources Systems for our growing Technology team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Driving innovation throughout the firm, our Technology team provides industry-leading solutions that enable MNP to better serve our clients and people. We deliver on the strategic needs of service lines, industry and specialty groups, and operations at all levels throughout the firm. Our specialists develop, enable and support initiatives that allow MNP to deliver client service, collaborate, communicate and operate reliably and efficiently.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Performance Expectations

  • Gain knowledge and an in-depth understanding of the applications used by the Finance and Human Resources (HR) departments
  • Provide end user support for technical issues with Finance and HR Systems
  • Provide support for integrations between internal legacy systems including HR information systems, time and billing and financial systems
  • Develop and maintain in-house, custom templates in Excel, including macro-enabled templates
  • Interact with the development team to isolate and identify errors
  • Translate business requirements into appropriate technical specifications
  • Build trust with internal users by regularly demonstrating a high level of expertise and professionalism
  • Document actions taken and ensure timely escalation of problems from support tickets

Credentials

  • Completion of a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in an applications support role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and VBA
  • Experience working with reporting tools such as T-SQL, SQL Server, SSRS, Power BI and Tableau
  • Working knowledge of Agresso is considered an asset
  • Accounting knowledge is beneficial
