Join the momentum. We are seeking a Senior Consultant for our growing Technology Consulting team. Driving business excellence, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Consulting team works with organizations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to provide innovative strategies tailored to maximize efficiencies, enhance performance and increase profitability. Specifically, our recognized Technology Consulting team works with clients to translate technology issues and opportunities into meaningful results that meet organizational needs.



Performance Expectations

  • Develop technical architectures, frameworks and strategies to meet business and application requirements
  • Create, maintain and update system architecture design diagrams and supporting documentation
  • Proactively analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions
  • Design and develop a solution architecture in the OpenText WCM platform, including an Authoring environment (TeamSite/SitePublisher) publishing to a Java-based runtime environment (LiveSite)
  • Implement and enhance standards in TeamSite/LiveSite development and improve Quality Control
  • Create, develop and update key, web-based configurations, including XSLT, HTML/XHTML templates (HTML 5), XML configuration files, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and JavaScript libraries
  • Using Java, create and modify code and software during the implementation phase of web applications for the OpenText WCM platform as part of an IT project team
  • Design and implement LiveSite component libraries tailored to business requirements
  • Develop workflows using the TeamSite Workflow Modeler to fulfill client business requirements including functionality such as approvals, notifications, publishing content and integrating with external systems
  • Provide quality, technical consulting services on a variety of client engagements while keeping within the project scope and ensuring client deliverables are on time
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes


  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related education and/or experience
  • Six (6) to ten (10) years of experience developing with the following: HTML5, JavaScript, JAVA, SQL and DBMS such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database
  • Experience using the Eclipse family of IDE tools and/or other IDEs for Java development
  • Experience with Windows Server and Unix or Linux operating systems
  • Experience in using and administering DevOps tools for tasks such as source control (SVN, Git, TFS, etc.), continuous integration (Jenkins, TeamCity, TFS, etc.) and code quality analysis (Sonar, FxCop, etc.)
  • Experience with web servers and web application servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, IIS and Apache Web Server
  • Experience with key Java frameworks such as Spring is considered an asset
  • Experience in .NET and related tools is considered an asset
  • Experience in projects using Agile or Scrum approaches is considered an asset
  • Eligible to obtain security clearance and a background check
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
