    Join the momentum. We are currently seeking a Lead Administrative Assistant to join our growing Administration team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Strategically supporting the firm, our Administration team anticipates the needs of our team members and Partners. We effectively communicate information for service lines, industry and specialty groups, and operations at all levels throughout the firm. Our administrators support initiatives and ensure efficiency, allowing MNP to better serve our clients and people.




     Performance Expectations

    • Liaise with the Regional Managing Partner (RMP) to establish administrative procedures
    • Assist in the creation of presentations
    • Record minutes at various meetings and distribute or archive them accordingly
    • Communicate with internal departments to ensure firm systems and procedures are employed and make suggestions for improvements, as necessary
    • Ensure word templates, standards and office lists are maintained for Speciality Tax Service Line
    • Support National Tax practice by coordinating annual conferences, retreats, and meetings
    • Produce reports
    • Process invoices and payments for vendors and review
    • Organise physical office space
    • Provide back up support as necessary
    • Perform a variety of administrative and clerical office support activities for RMP and Regional Leaders ensuring timely adherence and deadlines i.e format and edit client correspondence, presentations, proposals, reports and spreadsheets
    • Support RMP through calendar and email management, invoicing, A/R and travel bookings
    • Prepare, submit, and approve expense reports
    • Monitor and/or manage assigned RMP Outlook calendars; this includes arranging internal and external meetings; responding to changing priorities, coordinating meeting logistics and preparing support material
    • Enter, review and maintain opportunities, client account and contact information
    • Review upcoming deadlines and work requirements with Partner(s); manage the flow of work to the Partner(s) such as documents for review/signature
    • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
    • Create, maintain and update spreadsheets
    • Uphold electronic filing systems
    • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry and service line
    • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
    • Raise awareness of MNP at community events


    • Completion of a post-secondary Secretarial Diploma Program or a Business Administration Program
    • Minimum three (3) years office experience working in a Professional Services environment, particularly a public practice, considered an asset
    • Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience
    • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel is required
    • Caseware knowledge considered a strong asset
