Be part of the momentum. We are seeking a temporary, full time Receptionist to join our Administration team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Strategically supporting the firm, our Administration team anticipates the needs of our team members and Partners. We effectively communicate information for service lines, industry and specialty groups and operations at all levels throughout the firm. Our administrators support initiatives and ensure efficiency, alowing MNP to better serve our clients and people.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Performance Expectations

  • Using a reception switchboard, answer, screen and direct all in-bound calls
  • Process incoming and outgoing courier packages and mail in a timely and cost effective manner, ensuring that adequate mail supplies are on hand
  • Receive customer payments and complete bank deposits
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems
  • Assemble tax returns
  • Perform general administrative duties as required including but not limited to typing, photocopying, faxing and printing reports
  • Provide polite and courteous customer service to incoming guests

Credentials

  • Previous office experience is preferred
  • Post-secondary education in an office administration program (e.g. Office Administration Diploma) is considered an asset
  • Ability to handle multiple calls using a switchboard system
  • Proficiency using computers
  • Strong attention to detail and superior organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work full for the months of March, and April
  • Ability to work some overtime is expected
