    Join the momentum. We are seeking a Consultant for our fast-growing Technology Risk Services team. Protecting businesses’ best interests, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our recognized Enterprise Risk team helps identify, evaluate and manage risk exposure to protect a company’s reputation and assets. Specifically, our Technology Risk Services team identifies and addresses enterprise issues, improves business performance and assists with IT governance and strategy, information security and privacy, IT controls evaluation, design and implementation and control assurance and framework alignment.



    Performance Expectations

    • Provide Technology Risk solutions including SOC audits, IT internal audits, IT external audits and CEO/CFO certifications to our broad base of clients
    • Evaluate the risks and the adequacy of controls associated with IT, applications, databases and interfaces and business cycle controls
    • Assist in IT audit planning
    • Preparing IT testing procedures, documenting and testing the IT controls with sufficient detail, and concluding the IT audit
    • Review operating systems and application environments
    • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry
    • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
    • Raise awareness of MNP at community events
    • Attend internal MNP courses to further develop your IT audit knowledge


    • One (1) to three (3) years of IT audit experience or relevant external audit experience with a focus on IT processes and controls
    • Willingness to work towards achieving a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation within two (2) years of joining MNP, and obtain other relevant designations, if required
    • Strong IT controls audit experience in an ICFR environment
    • SOC 1 and/or SOC 2 experience in planning, execution and drafting of SOC reports is highly desired
    • Experience with SOC readiness assessments is highly desired
    • Experience with audit of privacy controls is highly desired
    • Experience with ACL, IDEA or equivalent is desired
    • Experience with the Review of an ERP is desired
    • Ability to prepare effective presentations
    • Excellent documentation skills and writing proposals
    • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high quality work
    • Ability to travel approximately 10%-15% of work time
