Join the momentum. We are seeking an Analyst for our growing Consulting Services team. Driving business excellence, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Consulting team works with organizations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to provide innovative strategies tailored to maximize efficiencies, enhance performance and increase profitability.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Performance Expectations

  • Participate in the proposal process and help support the implementation, administration and completion of client engagements
  • Assist in the research, collection, analysis and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data for the purpose of proposing, planning and implementing business improvements for clients
  • Assist in the reviewing of reports, interviews, focus groups and surveys
  • Execute financial modeling, business planning, feasibility studies, strategic planning, operational planning, program reviews, program redesigns and other forms of consulting
  • Complete business process mapping and analysis with a focus on improving outcomes
  • Complete business and program assessments focused around people, process and technology; identify potential issues and risks
  • Coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders consistent with project plans
  • Deliver formal presentations and reports for client engagements and industry presentations
  • Coordinate workflow and perform tasks related to proposal creation, production and delivery
  • Support the design, development, formatting and proof reading of high quality professional reports, proposals, correspondence, engagement letters, client summaries and presentations
  • Coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders consistent with project plans
  • Collaborate with client engagement team prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, materiality and deadlines
  • Monitor project timelines against targets, adjust where necessary
  • Support the delivery of high quality client service to ensure client needs are responded to in a timely, accurate and professional manner
  • Develop positive working relationships with clients at the peer and management level
  • Maintain internal records and compliance for consulting team
  • Set-up new clients and maintain the client database system
  • Prepare client invoices
  • Coordinate team meetings and events
  • Promote MNP advisory services through the delivery of presentations, writing articles, facilitating workshops or participating in community activities
  • Promote regular attendance, balanced lifestyle and high standard of team wellness
  • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
  • Raise awareness of MNP at community events
  • Attend internal MNP courses to further develop your consulting knowledge

Credentials

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, mathematics, finance; another relevant combination of post-secondary training and relevant professional experience will be considered
  • Previous experience or training in project management and business analysis is an asset
  • Previous work experience in a consulting and/or professional services environment is an asset
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general business principles with general knowledge of finance, marketing, planning, human resources, technology and operations
  • Experience in customer service and/or client service is preferred
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Some travel may be required
