    Join the momentum. We are seeking a Manager for our growing Organization and People Consulting team. Driving business excellence, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Consulting team works with organizations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to provide innovative strategies tailored to maximize efficiencies, enhance performance and increase profitability. Specifically, our Organization and People Consultants work with companies to maximize their workforce by ensuring effective policies and programs are in place to attract and retain the most qualified individuals.



    Performance Expectations

    • Lead and manage projects across a spectrum of human resource management disciplines including human resource advice and guidance, policy and procedure development, organization design, compensation, performance management, workforce planning, change management and employee/labour relations
    • Work with clients, partners, managers and applicable specialists to identify needs and develop an approach and methodology to address the needs
    • Provide advice and guidance regarding human resource matters
    • Develop human resource policies and processes to communicate and adopt these policies
    • Conduct organizational or functional reviews with analysis, diagnostics and recommendations
    • Complete design and description of individual roles, including executive roles, using both standard or customized templates
    • Develop practical performance management programs including succession planning
    • Review compensation structures and programs and provide the compensation services required
    • Develop a change management plan to accompany organizational change
    • Complete workforce planning activities to support transition or change and initiate recruitment activities to fill requirements
    • Execute the delivery of high level client service to ensure client needs and requests on matters related to business development and projects are responded to in a timely, accurate and professional manner
    • Perform team management and coordination to align project resources and activities to project work plans
    • Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
    • Lead in the collection, development, research and analysis of data including website research, review of reports, interviews, focus groups and surveys
    • Support internal communication, accountability and feedback within and across our project teams
    • Participate in the ongoing business development and marketing of MNP Consulting services to new and existing clients and establish network consisting of key decision makers, nurturing contacts
    • Contact new and existing clients to schedule a needs assessment and outline services and successes of MNP to grow the business
    • Facilitate workshops with executives
    • Execute written and oral presentations to internal stake holders and clients
    • Keep abreast of market trends in order to assess potential opportunities for improvement
    • Promote MNP Organization and People Services through the delivery of presentations, writing articles, facilitating workshops or participating in community activities
    • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry
    • Raise awareness of MNP through discussions at community events including client and company sponsored functions
    • Network in the local business community and consider business development opportunities
    • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches in order to improve work processes
    • Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and addressing performance issues promptly
    • Promote regular attendance, balanced lifestyle and high standard of team wellness
    • Conduct formal, written annual performance reviews


    • Completion of a post secondary degree and certification in a relevant discipline
    • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a human resource management role in a medium-sized organization
    • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Some travel may be required
