    Join the momentum. We are seeking a Business Development Representative for our growing Cyber Security Services team. Protecting businesses’ best interests, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Cyber Security team helps identify, evaluate and manage risk exposure to protect a company’s reputation and assets. Specifically, our team identifies and addresses cyber security challenges, tests the resiliency against cyber-attacks, assists with IT governance and strategy, reviews and advises on defensive controls and offers advice on information security and privacy for all types of clients.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Performance Expectations

    • Build a large sales pipeline within the territory; achieve and exceed Quota objectives annually
    • Build strong relationships with technology partners and respective field sales reps (internally and externally) to gather leads and be introduced into sales opportunities
    • Monitor and mediate all necessary communication between customer, vendor and technical resources within each account
    • Maintain internal communications with MNP team, relative to specific opportunities and the associated requirements
    • Report as directed (accurately and fully) all forecasted opportunities

    Credentials

    • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma
    • Information Technology and/or Cyber Security education, designations or certifications considered an advantage
    • Three (3) to six (6) years of experience in the Information Technology Industry; Cyber Security Industry experience considered an advantage
    • Experience with business development for information technology within the Health Care Industry
    • Experience in solution and service based sales in an Information Technology environment
    • Experience and knowledge of the Cyber Security market and competitors is an asset
    • Current relationships with target customers and ability to sell to C level individuals and a track record of success is an asset
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Ability to quickly learn new technologies
    • Ability to build strong relationships with key executives and sponsors within the region
    • Security clearance an asset
    • Must have a vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license
