    Join the momentum. We are currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our growing Technology team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Driving innovation throughout the firm, our Technology team provides industry-leading solutions that enable MNP to better serve our clients and people. We deliver on the strategic needs of service lines, industry and specialty groups, and operations at all levels throughout the firm. Our specialists develop, enable and support initiatives that allow MNP to deliver client service, collaborate, communicate and operate reliably and efficiently.



    Performance Expectations

    • Complete research to identify and define requirements for the use of technology
    • Improve technology processes and systems that positively impact the business
    • Create viable specifications and acceptance criteria in preparation for the construction of information and communication systems
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and partners across the organization
    • Liaise between the business and Technology departments to provide business and system analysis service
    • Create and maintain formal and informal project management plans, schedules and timelines; coordinate resources and proactively communicate when needed
    • Identify, prioritize, analyze, document and implement business requirements with the ability to present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
    • Review and prepare documents and reports
    • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and report defects found during the execution of various test cases on development software
    • Ensure the successful execution of the Quality Assurance (QA) processes and testing strategies leading to the deployment of quality applications
    • Setup and configure necessary test tools and environments for test execution and automation
    • Perform testing of new features as well as regression testing of existing system to ensure high software quality
    • Identify, record and document processes thoroughly and track known application bugs
    • Participate in the continuous improvement of test processes and methodologies
    • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
    • Work with .NET programming and SQL Server
    • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry
    • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
    • Raise awareness of MNP at community events
    • Attend internal MNP courses to further develop your information technology knowledge


    • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Technology or related program; relevant experience will also be considered
    • Minimum two (2) to five (5) years of related work experience
    • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
    • Demonstrated ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times
    • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
    • Experience with coordinating or managing UAT
    • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
