    Join the momentum. We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our Regional Marketing team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Positioning the firm for success, our Marketing team supports the growth, business-generating efforts and goals of MNP. We develop and deliver creative and strategic programs that translate the firm’s objectives into market-appropriate media, messages and methodologies. We build and protect our brand in new and existing markets, as well as create and sustain market advantage in all service line, industry and specialty groups.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Performance Expectations

    • Support the region in all areas of marketing including events, sponsorships, advertising, direct marketing, publicity, digital marketing, trade shows, local promotions, community programs, business development presentations, signage, brochures, website and social media as determined by the Regional Marketing Manager
    • Responsible for project coordination, tactical execution, tracking and day-to-day administration of the regional marketing campaigns, strategies and initiatives
    • Utilize appropriate marketing disciplines and tools to achieve the desired position of the MNP brand (ex: one-on-one communication, paid advertising, use of collateral materials, direct marketing, publicity, event marketing, networking, sponsorship/donations, web based media, etc.
    • Assist with selected Request for Proposal (RFP) processes; use templates to write, format and complete marketing content for RFPs
    • Provide regular tracking and administration of Firm marketing processes, at the regional and national levels
    • Assist in ongoing tracking and reporting of regional marketing budgets for monthly and quarterly review
    • Manage and track projects to ensure delivery on time and on budget, and provide Regional Marketing Manager with regular status updates
    • Gather and compile market research for annual planning purposes
    • Maintain marketing materials and collateral including promotional items, brochures and tradeshow equipment
    • Perform administrative duties specific to the marketing department such as updating and maintaining databases, client lists and preparing materials for distribution to clients
    • Organize targeted client prospect programs in conjunction with other internal resources and other internal marketing-related initiatives
    • Create and send industry specific newsletters to clients and business partners
    • Work with sponsoring organizations to get MNP speakers on event agendas
    • Work alongside leadership with the execution of niche-specific marketing plans
    • Conduct other projects and ad-hoc activities as directed by the Regional Marketing Manager and Partner
    • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry focus sectors
    • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
    • Raise awareness of MNP at community events and become a brand ambassador
    • Attend internal MNP courses to further develop your marketing knowledge

    Credentials

    • Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration specializing in marketing, communications, project management, English, journalism or related discipline
    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a marketing capacity and a demonstrated understanding of the marketing process, project coordination and budgeting processes is preferred
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification considered an asset
    • Experience in a corporate writing environment considered an asset
    • Experience working in a Professional Services environment considered an asset
    • Possess strong presentation skills
    • Proven web based research skills
    • Possess strong organizational skills to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • A valid driver’s license is necessary as travel will be required
