    Join the momentum. We are currently seeking a Program Administrator, Bookkeeping / Accounting for our growing Administration team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Strategically supporting the firm, our Administration team anticipates the needs of our team members and Partners. We effectively communicate information for service lines, industry and specialty groups, and operations at all levels throughout the firm. Our administrators support initiatives and ensure efficiency, allowing MNP to better serve our clients and people.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Performance Expectations

    • Responsible for coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders to schedule implementations, convert client files, communicate progress and timelines and source relevant supporting information / documentation
    • Support MNP’s outsourced accounting implementation specialists responsible for converting client files from desktop applications (e.g. QuickBooks Desktop, Sage 50) to cloud accounting applications (e.g. QBO, Xero, Sage Business Cloud)
    • Provide coordination and planning support for ongoing implementations
    • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team
    • Coordinate implementation logistics with clients and other stakeholders consistent with project plans, including sourcing appropriate information / documentation
    • Manage communication with multiple stakeholders across multiple projects / initiatives
    • Assist in identifying potential bottlenecks and resource forecasting constraints or other foreseen challenges in supporting a pipeline of upcoming and ongoing projects

    Credentials

    • Post secondary education will be considered an asset
    • Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of experience in project administration role preferred
    • Advanced Excel and Word skills
    • Familiarity with basic Accounting / Finance principles preferred
    • Experience with small business accounting software considered an asset
    • Previous experience in a professional services environment considered an asset
    • Some travel may be required
