    Join the momentum. We are seeking an Analyst for our growing Forensics team. Protecting businesses’ best interests, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our recognized Forensics team combines accounting and investigative expertise to resolve fraud emergencies. Our professionals conduct assessments that gauge an organization’s vulnerability to fraud and help implement anti-fraud controls to reduce exposure to criminal and civil wrongdoing.



    Performance Expectations

    • Participate in multiple client engagements including fraud investigations, loss quantification, litigation support, and risk management
    • Assist in the execution of client engagements primarily on the matters of forensic accounting, fraud risk assessments and investigations, and litigation support
    • Assist in the execution of investigative plans on sensitive litigious matters and objectively analyze complex financial matters
    • Preparing memoranda and reports, conducting research, designing interview questions, examining documents, analyzing financial data and constructing financial models
    • Collaborate with internal and external clients to protect, analyze and report on your findings
    • Analyze financial data, examine documents, conduct in-depth research and assist with Forensic engagements such as contract disputes, asset misappropriation and conflicts of interest
    • Support the design, development, formatting and proof reading of high quality professional reports, proposals and correspondence
    • Support the team delivery of high quality client service to ensure client needs are responded to in a timely, accurate and professional manner


    • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in accounting
    • Completion of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or another Canadian accounting designation with relevant experience is an asset
    • Completion of the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation or a plan to obtain the designation within two (2) years of joining the practice
    • One (1) to four (4) years experience in public accounting; experience in advisory or consulting is considered an asset or experience in industry
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, obtain, analyze and consolidate information from various sources
    • Ability to achieve Enhanced Reliability Level Government of Canada security screening
    • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Some travel may be required
