    Join the momentum. We are seeking a Senior Consultant for our growing Public Sector Consulting Services team. Driving business excellence, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Consulting team works with organizations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to provide innovative strategies tailored to maximize efficiencies, enhance performance and increase profitability.



    Performance Expectations

    • Assist in the delivery of consulting services such as planning, program evaluations, strategic and operational reviews, stakeholder engagement and other forms of management consulting
    • Support proposal development along with the implementation, administration and completion of client engagements
    • Perform complex and detailed research, interpretation and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data for the purpose of proposing, planning and implementing business improvements for clients
    • Participate in research through the collection, development and analysis of data (through online content, report review, interviews, focus groups, surveys and administrative data)
    • Design, develop, format and proof-read professional reports, proposals, presentations and correspondence
    • Develop positive working relationships and liaise with clients and colleagues
    • Ensure delivery of high-quality client service products
    • Monitor project timelines against targets, adjust where necessary; advise clients of project status and seek clarification on discrepancies where applicable
    • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services and clientele through experiential learning with clients
    • Network and take a leadership role in the local professional community while raising awareness of MNP and looking for new business development opportunities
    • Promote MNP advisory services through the delivery of presentations, writing articles, facilitating workshops and/or participating in community activities
    • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes while effectively using MNP internal programs and systems
    • Assist in conducting formal, written annual performance reviews
    • Promote regular attendance, balanced lifestyle and high standard of team wellness
    • Attend internal MNP courses to further develop knowledge around performance improvement


    • Ideal candidate possesses a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in business, public administration, political science or another related field
    • Preference will be given to those with a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification or a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation
    • Has at least two (2) years of consulting experience, ideally in a client-service environment
    • Has interest and/or experience in program evaluation or reviews of operations, organizations and/or services
    • Ideally has experience in business and practice development
    • Possesses strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Office
    • Preference given to candidates who can manage large databases and conduct analyses using appropriate analytic tools for quantitative data (e.g. Excel, SAS, SPSS) and/or qualitative data (e.g. Nvivo, Atlas.ti, MaxQDA)
    • Is willing to travel, if required
