    Join the momentum. We are currently seeking an Enterprise Architect to join our growing Technology team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Driving innovation throughout the firm, our Technology team provides industry-leading solutions that enable MNP to better serve our clients and people. We deliver on the strategic needs of service lines, industry and specialty groups, and operations at all levels throughout the firm. Our specialists develop, enable and support initiatives that allow MNP to deliver client service, collaborate, communicate and operate reliably and efficiently.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Performance Expectations

    • Create and maintain architectural blueprints that tie into enterprise-wide integrated technology solutions by working collaboratively with various departments and team members
    • Establish strong partnerships through collaboration with business groups, functional leaders, technology group and key subject matter experts (SMEs) to align the technology roadmap with enterprise technology strategies
    • Responsible for MNP’s enterprise architecture and standards in alignment with the strategic corporate vision
    • Provide consulting and expert advice regarding the strategic direction and implementation of enterprise data management, architectural standards, principles and best practices
    • Support the development of advanced analytics focusing on how data will be gathered, structured and utilized by various stakeholders across the firm (i.e. data modeling, cleansing, structuring)
    • Develop and participate in the architecture governance process to ensure compliance across all relevant solution architecture domains
    • Conduct architecture reviews, code-reviews, determine impacts of change and ensure solutions are aligned with business strategies, outcomes, architectural principles and standards
    • Identify implementation risks and analysis of potential impact on the firm and on the achievement of solution objectives
    • Develop architecture models and plans to drive forward the strategy, taking advantage of opportunities and leveraging technology to improve business performance
    • Keep abreast of technical, business, and market industry trends, internal strategies and directions through publications, research papers, personal networks and vendors

    Credentials

    • Completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology required 
    • Five (5) or more years of technical leadership and architecture experience in enterprise software development as a software architect
    • Advanced knowledge, experience and understanding of architecture, application development, application systems design, and integration
    • Knowledge of software development practices, concepts, and technology obtained through formal training and/or work experience
    • Extensive comprehension and hands-on experience with architectural frameworks, design approaches and development methodologies (i.e. .NET, SQL/BI stack, REST/API, Microservices, SOA, EF, ASP.NET, MVC, HTML5, etc.) as well as a strong track record in creating and maintaining business platforms and technology roadmaps
    • Familiarity and understanding of the corresponding impact on IT infrastructure fundamentals (i.e. network technologies/protocols, security, cloud, servers, virtualization, storage, application virtualization, scripting and IT automation) will assist in the complete blueprint topology delivery
    • Experience with both agile and non-agile processes
    • Experience in constructing architectural runways
    • Demonstrated passion for innovation, continuous improvement, growth and change management
