    Join the momentum. We are currently seeking a SharePoint Specialist for a six (6) month term to join our growing Technology team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Driving innovation throughout the firm, our Technology team provides industry-leading solutions that enable MNP to better serve our clients and people. We deliver on the strategic needs of service lines, industry and specialty groups, and operations at all levels throughout the firm. Our specialists develop, enable and support initiatives that allow MNP to deliver client service, collaborate, communicate and operate reliably and efficiently.



    Performance Expectations

    • Administer and maintain on-premises enterprise implementations of SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2016 as well as Sharepoint Online
    • Configure service applications
    • Customize SharePoint page layouts, master pages and forms
    • Develop custom solutions on SharePoint 2013, 2016 and Online platforms
    • Assist in the deployment and configuration of custom developed SharePoint solutions
    • Perform SharePoint Apps development
    • Integrate SharePoint with external data
    • Responsible for overall farm health, monitoring and auditing
    • Grant user permissions
    • Implement complex enterprise security model
    • Maintain backup and restore sites and farms
    • Process SharePoint content migration requests
    • Analyze site usage trends
    • Write Powershell scripts to support business processes
    • Assist in content management and content governance practices through the use of workflow
    • Support and train business users
    • Plan and implement SharePoint updates and service packs
    • Troubleshoot SharePoint problems as they arise
    • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry
    • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes


    • Possess a diploma or degree in related field
    • Minimum three (3) to five (5) year of experience
    • Work experience with the following is required:
      • HTML
      • CSS
      • JavaScript
      • Previous administration or customization experience with SharePoint 2013 or 2016
      • Work experience with the following is an asset:
      • Understand networking concepts including DNS, load balancing and firewalls
      • Architecture of high-availability systems
      • Windows server administration
      • Windows services troubleshooting
      • IIS administration
      • SSL certificate management
      • IIS Url Rewrite module
      • ADFS/SAML authentication federation experience
      • Knowledge of SharePoint service applications
      • Powershell scripting
      • SharePoint search administration
      • SharePoint designer experience
      • Release management
      • Debugging/Troubleshooting - networking, event logs, ULS logs
    • Experience with Nintex would be an asset
    • Experience working with software development teams
