    Join the momentum. We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst for our growing Technology team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Driving innovation throughout the firm, our Technology team provides industry-leading solutions that enable MNP to better serve our clients and people. We deliver on the strategic needs of service lines, industry and specialty groups, and operations at all levels throughout the firm. Our specialists develop, enable and support initiatives that allow MNP to deliver client service, collaborate, communicate and operate reliably and efficiently.



    Performance Expectations

    • Developing QA strategies and standards for the MNP development team in Calgary’s IT department
    • Defining internal QA processes to an appropriate level to mitigate technological, process and control risks
    • Planning, documenting and executing QA test plans using Azure DevOps Test Plans (formerly VSTS Test Plans)
    • Responsible for ensuring that all User Story acceptance criteria is covered by test plans
    • A self-starter who will analyze and determine all potential outputs and expected outcomes for every test scenario
    • Writing QA test scenarios that have clarity and are transferrable
    • Ensuring all QA activities are completed and signed off in the expected timeframe prior to deployment of solutions and changes
    • Setting up and configuring tools and environments for testing
    • Preparing and presenting reports for management review and sign-off
    • Participating in the continuous improvement of test processes and methodologies
    • Staying up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
    • Developing a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, business and industry
    • Contributing to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
    • Participating in additional activities supporting the firm’s goals
    • Planning and coordination of UAT activities


    • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology or related program; relevant experience will also be considered
    • Minimum five (5) years of related work experience
    • Minimum five (5) years experience creating automated tests using Selenium, Ranorex, etc.
    • Experience using JavaScript end-to-end testing frameworks such as Protractor, Jasmine, or Cypress is preferred
    • Minimum two (2) years experience working with Azure DevOps Test Plans to create test plans, facilitate manual and automated testing, execute load testing and obtain stakeholder feedback
    • UI/UX experience
    • Experience in writing clear, concise, comprehensive and repeatable test plans and test cases
    • Experience testing client facing web applications that are high traffic and considered mission critical
    • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Experience with coordinating or managing UAT
    • Experience writing unit and integration tests in C#, TypeScript or JavaScript is considered an asset
