    Join the momentum at MNP, as we are seeking a Senior Consultant for our growing Cyber Security Services team. Protecting businesses’ best interests, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Cyber Security team helps identify, evaluate and manage risk exposure to protect a company’s reputation and assets. Specifically, our team identifies and addresses cyber security challenges, tests the resiliency against cyber-attacks, assists with IT governance and strategy, reviews and advises on defensive controls and offers advice on information security and privacy for all types of clients.

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Performance Expectations

    • Ability to perform compliance audits/assessment and threat and risk assessments.
    • Capability to present assessment results to technical and non-technical audiences
    • Attend internal MNP courses to further develop knowledge around performance improvement
    • Travel within the GTA is required, some travel outside of the GTA may be required.

     

    Credentials

    • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering, computer science or a related field
    • Minimum five (3) years of experience in security and privacy services 
    • PCI QSA, ISO 27001 LA, CISSP, CISM, CISA designations are a benefit.
    • Knowledge of various risk assessment methods (ISO 31000, OpenFAIR, OCTAVE) is an asset.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is an asset
    • Understanding of IT security and governance frameworks, such as ISO 27001/2 and COBIT
    • Security Clearance considered an asset
