    Join the momentum at MNP. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist a group of partners and managers in Assurance & Accounting, by providing administrative support. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Strategically supporting the firm, our Administration team anticipates the needs of our team members and Partners. We effectively communicate information for service lines, industry and specialty groups, and operations at all levels throughout the firm. Our administrators support initiatives and ensure efficiency, allowing MNP to better serve our clients and people.



    Performance Expectations

    • Prepare correspondence, memoranda, various templates and forms, presentations and proposals

    • Format and proofread engagement letters, financial statements and other related documentation

    • Prepare invoices

    • Manage expense accounts

    • Generate weekly work in process and Accounts Receivable reports

    • Update time sheets

    • Maintain Firm's clients’ database

    • Ensure internal and external communication by following up on various client related or internal matters

    • Manage partners' agenda, contacts and e-mails

    • Organize meetings

    • Coordinate travel arrangements

    • Support the other administrative team members and ensure their replacement, if necessary

    • Screen phone calls

    • Fax, print, scan, file

    • Other duties / projects as required


    • College diploma (DEC) or equivalent

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English

    • Computer literacy: Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), CaseWare - an asset

    • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a similar role

    • Display a strong sense of confidentiality

    • Dynamic, accountable

    • Priority-oriented with proven anticipation, initiative and time management skills and ability to meet all deadlines

    • Strong client service and interpersonal skills

    • Detail-oriented

    • Able to work in a very fast paced environment with minimum supervision, as well as part of a team

    • Adaptable and flexible, as overtime might be requested

    • CaseWare an asset
