    We are seeking a Manager for our growing Cyber Security Services team. Protecting businesses’ best interests, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Cyber Security team helps identify, evaluate and manage risk exposure to protect a company’s reputation and assets. Specifically, our team identifies and addresses cyber security challenges, tests the resiliency against cyber-attacks, assists with IT governance and strategy, reviews and advises on defensive controls and offers advice on information security and privacy for all types of clients.



    Performance Expectations

    • Provide industry and technical expertise in information security through client interactions, reports, technical work, management presentations and the creation of high quality deliverables
    • Contribute to business development processes including research and analysis, writing and developing proposals as well as working with the engagement lead to develop tailored project plans, work programs, and solutions
    • Actively manage with a hands-on approach, when required, to deliver client service (including planning, scoping, budgeting, coordinating engagements, and timely service delivery)
    • Lead and/or manage multiple complex engagements, from start to finish, to deliver the planned scope within agreed budgets and timelines
    • Write reports and present to internal staff and clients including: executive summary, assessment findings and recommendations for improvement
    • Ensure quality services and deliverables
    • Network and take a leadership role in the local professional and business community while raising awareness of MNP and looking for new business development opportunities
    • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
    • Lead, motivate, mentor, direct, train and manage team members


    • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related field
    • Completion of CISSP, CISA, CISM and/or other related certifications
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience in security services
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience defining and implementing cyber security services and solutions
    • Excellent understanding of Cyber Security services (penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, TRA’s, PCI, etc.) and solutions (NGFW, IPS, 2-factor authentication, SIEM, networking etc.), including architecting, configuration and installation
    • Experience with delivering Cyber Security services (i.e. TRAs, PCI, Pen Testing, Cyber Maturity Assessments, Cyber Security Risk Assessments for Cloud, Incident Response/Forensics, etc.) 
    • Understanding of IT security, governance, risk and control frameworks, such as ISO 27001/2 and COBIT
    • Understanding of Security and Privacy regulatory/legislative compliance (i.e. OSFI, Interac, PCI, PIPEDA, etc.) 
    • Experience with architecting, configuration and delivering technology-based controls
    • Experience in business and practice development
    • Security Clearance considered an asset
    • Some travel required
