Join the momentum. We are seeking an Analyst for our growing Enterprise Risk Services team. Protecting businesses’ best interests, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our recognized Enterprise Risk team helps identify, evaluate and manage risk exposure to protect a company’s reputation and assets.

 

YOUR ROLE @ MNP

Performance Expectations

  • Work with organizations across various industries, interact and develop relationships with clients and develop your business process and risk management skills
  • Develop respectful business relationships with all clients and business partners
  • Access to internal portal to download clients’ documents, reconcile with client accounts and coordinate with clients / clients’ representatives
  • Review clients’ tax returns including operating and business taxes
  • Review financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Prepare and submit net worth verification report and audit reports and attached forms to relevant government authorities, using computerized report system
  • Prepare other reports regarding financial modeling, ITGC testing
  • Prepare WIP reports
  • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes

Credentials

  • Completion of a College Diploma in business, accounting, bookkeeping or other related field
  • Experience as a financial or accounting clerk
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Extensive experience with data entry, analysis, record keeping and computer operation
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Some travel may be required
