Join the momentum. We are seeking a Senior Analyst for our growing Technology Consulting team. Driving business excellence, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Consulting team works with organizations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to provide innovative strategies tailored to maximize efficiencies, enhance performance and increase profitability. Specifically, our recognized Technology Consulting team works with clients to translate technology issues and opportunities into meaningful results that meet organizational needs.



Performance Expectations

  • Facilitate and run effective meetings
  • Requirement elicitation from stakeholders via workshops
  • Business process modeling of the current and to-be state
  • Requirement analysis, defining all types of requirements to define the business need
  • Requirements management and prioritization
  • Organize and coordinate stakeholder engagement
  • System integration analysis, including creating system interface specifications
  • Data analysis and design, creating logical data models and specifying lookups
  • Solution design and prototyping; creating user interface specifications
  • Be familiar with standard BA techniques as defined in the BABOK
  • Engage business stakeholders and write formal documentation such as business cases, requirements definition specifications, project glossaries, non-functional requirements specifications and communication plans
  • Engage developers and solution implementer and write formal technical documentation such as request for proposals (RFP), test cases, technical specifications and technical models


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in business analysis in an enterprise environment
  • Expert-level knowledge in the Business Analysis or Systems Analysis subject area
  • Working understanding of enterprise system infrastructure
  • Working understanding of enterprise analysis processes and documentation requirements for improving an organization’s processes and/or procedures
  • Microsoft Office tools including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Image editing software (i.e. GIMP, Snag It, etc.)
  • Using business process modelling and diagramming techniques such as BPMN
  • Using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to generate specifications
  • Writing SQL statements to mine data and analyze large datasets
  • Familiar with standard BA techniques as defined in the BABOK
